Before getting any class of licence in Alberta, you will need to take a drivers knowledge test. This tests your knowledge of traffic laws.

"Okay I am sorry for not remembering my examiner's name but he was a Sikh gentlemen. He was super nice and very understanding of my situation of being nervous during my road test. He was really helpful and made the environment relax and convenient. The stuff were really friendly as well. I recommend this place to everyone who has a test."

"The worst service ever! So I came to the registry to open a health card, waited in line for close to an hour, and not a first world Karen here, I’m usually very chill, but being pregnant at 9 months and ready to deliver any minute, finding out when I finally entered the facility that the person who takes care of health cards issuance isn’t there that day just pisses me off. What sort of a service and attitude and care for the clients is this?! How difficult was it to put up a sign at the entrance to notify the clients of an absent employee and save hours of time and inconvenience for your clients? When I raised this concern, the response I got was “I can give you the form to come tomorrow, do you want it or not?” without the slightest display of remorse or regret displayed by either the clerk or the registry manager. Please take your business somewhere else, these people don’t deserve it. In response to the below: there was no attempt made to fix the situation. The agent almost threw the papers my way. There was no impression of anyone being sorry about what happened either."

"The lady who helped me was very nice the only thing that was hard was because its not very big and due to Covid-19 everyone has to stand outside for the lineups and when it is really hot outside it gets draining and then people try and bump in front of you if you don't watch where you are in the line maybe a suggestion would be to have chairs or some sort of way to wind the lineups because everyone was trying to stay in the shade which then got confusing because people couldn't remember who they were in front or behind. But the ladies were very kind and did their best to make the lines move as quickly as they possibly could. One suggestion for those going is to be prepared and have all of your paperwork in order to help make the lines move easier as well Thank you"

"My girlfriend did her basic class 5 roadtest here today around 10:00 AM. the girls are very friendly, they told her goodluck and cheered her up before the roadtest. the examiner was very nice and professional! My girlfriend passed her roadtest the first time. then when shes done the girls congratulated her. They treat people like family! excellent customer service!"

"This registry has some of the consistently worst service I’ve ever experienced, however I usually used them in the past due to location. I have registered over 10 cars at this registry in the last 10 ish years. I’ve always had shaky hands. I can’t help that, and my writing is often messy. About half the times I go to register a car, they comment on the messy writing. However I always explain I have shaky hands when I’m writing and we move forward without issues. They have now refused me service 3 times due to “corrections on my bill of sale”, without even giving me the opportunity to explain about my writing. Incredibly disappointed that the staff are so impatient that they inadvertently discriminate against their customers. At my last visit to the store, they had me so upset I had to take my things and leave the store to go elsewhere. I will never return to this location after continuously being mistreated by the staff year after year. Response to Business Owner: there are zero corrections on the bill of sale that was refused. Bill of sale was accepted by competitor registry, no questions asked."
