Get ready for your visit to a B.C. driver licensing office by double-checking what ID you need, how much you will have to pay, and how to book your appointments.

To take the knowledge test, you will need to go to an ICBC driver licensing office. Your knowledge test can take up to one hour, so please arrive at least two hours before closing time to get a spot.

"Due to COVID, you've got to wait outside while they only let a few people in at a time. There are two doors & each caters to a certain service. One to line up if you've booked an appointment and the other for license renewals, BCID, payments, motor vehicle fines, taxes, etc."

"I am certain that everyone will be happy when all of the rules for COVID-19 are no longer needed. The staff there are doing an amazing job following the protocol but it definitely losses the "personal side" of everything."
