Knowledge tests for all licence classes are offered in all DriveTest Centres. Knowledge tests are written tests that determine whether you have a good understanding of the rules of the road and traffic signs. They consist of multiple-choice questions based on the official drivers handbooks.

Road tests (for cars/vans/small trucks; motorcycles; and commercial vehicles) assess your driving skills according to MTO criteria. A road test involves driving your own vehicle with a driver examiner as an observer.

"Ok here's the much wanted route for full G test. 1. As you enter into Cleak Avenue, you'll take a left. Then a left again to enter snow road 2. Head straight to the intersection and then a left from the stop sign to Hastings St N 3. Keep going straight. You'll be taking a left and entering highway 28. Drive as per speed limits as they change periodically. You'll have to keep going straight in highway 28. 4. Then, you'll be asked to take a left at Lakeview road. When you enter there, you'll be asked to make a stop and either uphill/downhill/emergency park. Remember, there's no curb on the side so park accordingly. The. A three point turn and back to highway 28. 5. You'll drive back the same route you came from. You might be asked to parallel park at some suitable place but I wasn't. You'll have to most certainly reverse park once you're back at the drivetest centre Enjoy your G."

"Great place and great lady who has taken the test clear cut instructions given 80 km highway for G passed my G test today just follow the instructions and rules and focus on driving you will pass the test. I will give 5 star for this location. Great staff and great people in this location."

"I went on a Friday on the first week of August, and there was no line up - I was the only one inside and was served immediately. The gal at the desk (I think she said her name was Sandra?) was super sweet, very understanding of my anxiety (having previously failed the written test) and she went above and beyond to help relieve any test anxiety I was having. She took her time to answer any questions I had and did so without any sign of frustration. I passed on my first try! Absolutely cannot recommend this place enough! Worth the trip just for their incredible service."
