Knowledge tests for all license classes are offered in all DriveTest Centers. Knowledge tests are written tests that determine whether you have a good understanding of the rules of the road and traffic signs. They consist of multiple-choice questions based on the official drivers handbooks. Road tests (for cars/vans/small trucks; motorcycles; and commercial vehicles) assess your driving skills according to MTO criteria. A road test involves driving your own vehicle with a driver examiner as an observer. Telephone Road Test Bookings 1-888-570-6110 or 647-776-0331

"I got my G1/G2 license here back in the day. It's interesting to know how far this place has fallen, but it's not surprising in the least. For my G1 exit test, I had the exact same instructor as you all had, Tammy or whatever her name is. She was rude and belligerent and extremely unprofessional. And it was JUST a G1 exit test. I can't understand how she hasn't been let go of yet, but I know there are some other instructors that need to be fired, too. To put THEIR hands on YOUR wheel WHILE you're driving is an enormous problem that needs to be addressed by this Drive Test location, but I know they refuse to acknowledge those problems. Thankfully, the next time I went for my G1 exit, I had a male instructor and he was very kind and understanding. They need to hire better instructors, point blank. But also, some of the men who work here do need to be looked at as well, for my G1 signature, the man working the picture booth/eye test kept telling me to re-do my signature and proceeded to rip the card from under my hands each time he saw me write my name and I barely touched the line of the box I was writing in. This was around 2014, and that too has kept me away from this location. I did my G test in Simcoe and passed the first time, 15 minute-long test and it was a breeze. Go to Simcoe rather than this dump."

"Did my G2 test here, had to wait about 1.5 hours after scheduled time to do test so be prepared! Which was very understandable during Covid. Driving tester was very nice and courteous. Easy directions and tell you where you went wrong!"

"They were actually quite quick and they are setup to minimize contact, which they accomplished very well."

"People should familiarize themselves with the provincial guidelines and municipal bylaws as mandated by our government. Stop complaining about the protective measures in place to protect us all and go prepared. I personally witnessed one female get out of her car, yelling screaming swearing swinging her arms essentially abusing a female examiner because of a mask (just to be clear the person was swinging her arms around angrily, not hitting the examiner). Wear a proper mask. Why wouldn't you want to wear a proper mask to protect yourself even because these examiners get into a lot of cars all day long. When my teenager was there for the written test the staff was patient, helpful and friendly."
